No matter the condition we find ourselves in, there is a father in heaven who cares and renders assistance to us. In the physical you have none to help you, but there is God who oversees the affairs of men, His help is more than enough to see you through in our today’s world…Thou art the helper of the fatherless Psalms 10:14. Look up to God and He will help you. I remember when I recently lost my dad as a boy, it was devastating but I moved on so did my other siblings. Yes there were moments when I needed his physical presence, but I knew that he couldn’t help me any longer, I learnt to trust God from a very young age. The absence of my dad pushed me to become a better thinker and I learnt how to go after the things I wanted. The point I want you to derive from this is to never put yourself at the point of disadvantage. The absence of a father will make you stronger. If you were meant to be wise at the age of 25, you’ll acquire that feat early because of the absence that has already been created.
You are never disadvantaged, see yourself in an advantaged position, taking the right steps, doing the good things and loving God. The presence of an earthly father is not the guarantee of success in life, the guarantee of success lies in your inner power to discover the meaning of your existence, once you’ve been able to know what to do with your life, pursue it and hand it over to God. You have God all by your side, God is going to look after you and take you to the heights you have never imagined before.
Stop wishing that your dad was here and just focus on God and your life’s purpose, I for one believe that if your dad would be instrumental in your rising up, God will still have him living till now, quit blaming God or anyone. Take your life and make a meaning out of it, be strong and walk up to God who is the never-dying father of all. Sometimes, for your great destiny to be achieved, God would call home the person whose time is up in other for a room to be created for you. If David didn’t die, Solomon would never have reigned as king, Joshua would never have been the leader of Israel if Moses was alive. Everything happens for a reason, see the absence of a loved one as a means God will use to bring you to destiny fulfillment. Today’s example is Joel Osteen, who after his father John Osteen has died and gone to be with the Lord, feared for his future at Lakewood Church, not knowing where to start from, but the death of his father was the beginning of a new chapter in his life and today God is using him mightily to teach, inspire, and to deliver people all over the world from all forms of bondage and addiction.
Don’t make an excuse neither should you compare yourself to anyone, don’t even say if my father was alive, because you have a living God. He said in His word in Matthew 11:28…come unto Me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. The most important backing you need is the backing of God. Go to God and you’ll find the comfort and peace you’re looking for. You are not disadvantaged, you have a very great advantage, stop feeling sorry for yourself and be encouraged that God has you at the palm of His hands, He cares for you and will never put you to shame. God is on the throne and with His help you’ll rise!
