Then he answered and spoke to me saying, This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit, says the LORD of hosts. Who are you, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace to it! Zechariah 4:6-7 KJV
We are in that season of the year when God does in minutes for people what will take others months of work to achieve. Trust is the key to receiving from the Lord in this period. Do not consider the time and say it is too short, but rather consider God and say nothing is impossible with God. Your plans and goals don’t get fulfilled because you planned it, it becomes accomplished by the spirit of God. I want you to understand that God is the person that gives reply to work and who determines if our plan will succeed or fail. Planning is good, but planning without the spirit of the LORD will bring frustration.
No matter the situation on ground and no matter how unreal your pursuits are, God is the one who determines its outcome, your power and might will fail you but the Spirit of the LORD will help you. Make demand of His Spirit that sponsors accomplishment in the life of men. It was the same Spirit of the LORD that Moses beckoned on and insisted that until it goes with them, they go nowhere. That Spirit is the presence of the most High God, because wherever the presence of God is there is demonstration of power, access to doors are granted and life becomes easy. If you want to experience the movement of the Spirit in your life simply start by taking God seriously and never do anything without praying and being certain that God wants you to be doing it. So long as Moses was directed by God, the Spirit of the LORD was present to do the extraordinary.
Prayer of the Day: Father I subscribe to the rule and authority of Your Kingship over my life. Help me LORD not to show confidence in my abilities but rather let my confidence be in You. I declare and decree today that Your Spirit will assist me in fulfilling all that I have set out to do before the conclusion of 2022 in Jesus’ name, amen.
