17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. Romans 16:17-18 KJV
Truth is life and that is why truth is uncommon amongst men, the life that truth carries is the major reason why the devil tries to replace truth with falsehood. However, men are the instrument that the devil uses to thwart truth and you must watch who you hang around and listen to. If what the people around you are saying contradicts the words of God, please avoid such company and run for your dear life. You’ll be polluting your thoughts if all you do is hang around people who justify their sins by quoting scriptures. According to Dr Paul Enenche, “no relationship leaves anyone neutral…” you must contact something. Be very conscious of where you sit down and let people speak into your life. I once heard someone justifying his iniquitous lifestyle by saying God created him male, and that male can’t be with only one single female. I immediately left the place, because those words are false and unscriptural.
People who tell lies are good speakers and very good convincers; it will sound good that one who doesn’t know the truth will fall for it. When you come into people who are professional liars, the focus is usually about them and nothing else. When you see such signs thread with extreme caution. When people fail to read the Scripture, lies prevail. If you don’t want to fall victim to liars, please study your Bible.
Prayer of the Day: LORD, I thank you for this new day of joy, breakthrough and love. Help me Lord to discern falsehood and deceivers around me, and give me the courage to walk away from scenes of falsehood in Jesus’ name, amen. Take me to places and connect me with people where I will be told the truth at all times. My day is blessed…Praise God.
