As for this temple you are building, if you follow my decrees, observe my laws and keep all my commands and obey them, I will fulfill through you the promise I gave to David your father. And I will live among the Israelites and will not abandon my people Israel.” So Solomon built the temple and completed it. 1kings 6:12-14 NIV
From the beginning God created man as a finished product and made man to exercise the same authority regarding the works of his hand. God never stopped half-way at creation, everything He intended to do; He started, finished and inaugurated it. For someone reading now God said to tell you not to give up, help is near, and your breakthrough just arrived. The ability to finish was found in Adam, according to Genesis 2:19-20, God brought them (creation) to Adam to see what he would call them. God was proof-checking Adam. He passed the check, he single handedly named the entire creation, God called him man, and he named others including the woman. He conducted a naming ceremony from A-Z without stopping half-way to say I give up. Don’t give up on your dreams, if you can start it, God will help you to finish it. Yours is to plant and continue in constant service.
Dearly beloved, God is a finisher. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Elijah, Elisha, Jesus, Paul and so many other servants of God and people of God started with Him, continued in Him and finished strong. Maybe you started a project or whatever it is and you’re unable to finish it, stuck in the middle and don’t know what to do anymore. There’s a word for you today, and that word is to stick to God and He will help you to wipe the mockery out, the God that started the good work in you is so faithful to help you finish it, only be obedient to Him and fear not.
Prayer of the Day: The power to finish strong in life is released upon me. I take authority over the spirit of abortion, lack and near success failure in Jesus’ name, the last time I abandoned a project because of lack of money and ideas is the last time forever in Jesus’ name, amen. You will finish what you started.
