SPENDING TIME WITH GOD

Thursday November 7, 2019

You have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the Lord. Ezekiel 13:5 KJV

TODAY’S THOUGHT: “Time with God is future redeemed.”

When you are with God, you miss nothing out of life, if you want to see speed and advancement in the works of your hand and in your family, spend time with God in the secret place. David said in Psalms 91, that anyone that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. The shadow is protection, provision, guidance and wisdom, you can’t see a man that genuinely puts God first and spends time praying that looks anyhow, their life is always shielded and with proof to show for. Prayer is a responsibility that we must gladly participate in if we desire to make exploits in this kingdom. The time that Daniel spent with God in prayer and thanksgiving preserved his life and established him.

Beloved, there is a gap to be filled and a wall of fire to be built round about your life and family and this can only be with dedication to a lifestyle of prayer. Have you ever seen a family that is upside down, that is to say nothing is working, no one listens to anybody they behave anyhow, with great potentials but grounded mentally and character-wise. By the time you do a background check on such family, you’ll realize that a prayer warrior is lacking in such home, when a home lacks a leader spiritually it reflects in the physical. When God wanted to destroy the Israelite’s He delivered from bondage, it was Moses that stood in the gap, prayed, pleaded and gave God reasons why it shouldn’t be so. Seat up and toughen up. Pray like your life depends on it daily, just like your physical body needs food to look good, you need prayer to finish strong.
