15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; 16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. 17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves. 18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine. Mark 11: 15-18 KJV

We live in a time when people will see something spoiling and instead of correcting it, they will leave it with, because of fear or some other reasons. If you have the means and it is within your reach please don’t see error and keep quiet, correct it. Correcting the errors of others requires courage, and commitment to good. They are people who work in offices where everybody is doing what they want, with little or no supervision; if by chance you can’t correct the spoil because of the environment and people involved don’t join the train. When you happen to find yourself in a situation when everybody is misbehaving and no one is taking correction or doing the right thing, personally ensure that you stand out and do the right thing, because in so doing your actions will send a message to others that it can be done another way and rightly. Take correction personally and enforce the right thing if it is within your power.

Jesus couldn’t ignore the disrespect of buying and selling that was carried out in the temple and He immediately moved into action and chased out all the people involved in one business or another from the temple. The situation determined the manner in which Jesus reacted, don’t go and do the same in an organization where you’re an employee but instead look for a way of reaction that will suit your condition properly. For someone it might require you to be true to the standards of God, if people around you are latecomers to work, choose to come early, decide not to be involved in corrupt practices and other activities that don’t represent God in a good light. Your reaction toward evil will show your stand in and for God.

Today’s Thought: “Any problem left unattended to grows worse.”

Keynote: Correct any wrong that is within your reach, don’t add to the spoil but rather stop it if you can.

Counsel: Display good character at all times and it’ll go a long way in making your life right and it will also pass a great message to the people who are around you. Sometimes when you can’t do physical talking your action does it.

Prayer: Lord, I ask that You give me the boldness to act wisely in areas of misconduct, help me Lord to do the right thing always in Jesus’ name, amen.
