3 Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil. 4 But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said, 5 “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?” 6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it. John 12: 3-6 NKJV
Don’t get bothered with the way and practices of other people’s decisions, what doesn’t concern you should not attract your opinion. Don’t question the purpose of the sacrifice of people, if you didn’t provide the offering don’t question the sacrifice, people have their reasons for making sacrifices and never you suggest to them an alternative against their intended wish. Sacrifice is purpose driven and don’t try to divert the purpose to what you think is right. What you didn’t contribute to bring you have zero or no say in determining how it should be used. By God actions are weighed, clear your motives from every wrongdoings.
Today’s thought: “Mind your business.”
Keynote: How people decide to give to God is none of your business.
Counsel: People experience God differently, therefore never allow your experience to be the yardstick on how others should relate with God.
Prayer: Father, help me to mind my business, I receive the race to give to God without hesitation and with a pure motive. Purge me Lord, from every wrong motive in Jesus’ name, amen. Receive strength for today and help from above, amen.
