What is man, that You should magnify him? And that You should set Your heart upon him? And that You should visit him every morning, and try him every moment? Job 7: 17-18 KJV
Our verse of today starts by letting us know that we are nothing but yet God’s delight. It highlights further that we don’t deserve the love of God, but in spite of man’s shortcomings God’s love abounds. Our focus today is centered on verse 18…That you check up on them every morning, looking in on them to see how they’re doing? The help of God is not void of His examination, that God has helped you to a certain extent does not suggest you’re free to live without supervision. After He created Adam and Eve, He blessed them and put them in the Garden to be examined, and when they failed the test, the fall began. In other words a helped man from above is always under a constant watch from God to see how he’ll react to the help.
Your ability to be answerable to God at all times is the key to sustaining the help of God and for making progress. Man is tried every moment, as the day breaks, trials begin. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad trial. It’s an overall approach of your person to events and circumstances and your value for Him (God) that He examines every day. Your response to these daily trials is what will qualify you for the next phase of the blessing or demote you and relegate you to the back seat of life. You will not be demoted in Jesus’ name.
Today’s thought: “Inside the help of God is a spiritual surveillance camera for examining the helped.”
Keynote: Inside every help and blessing of God there is a responsibility, trace the duty and perform it diligently.
Counsel: Be humble at all things; don’t allow the blessing to make you proud. Everything that man has was given. Give honor to whom honor is due. Don’t ever ride on the glory of God to raise your shoulders high.
Prayer: Father help me to always be conscious of Your presence around my life. May I never take delight in things that will make You turn Your back on me in Jesus’ name, amen.
You are blessed to bring forth your results in Jesus’ name, May the God of heaven show you mercy.
