These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, when he was seventeen years old, was shepherding the flock with his brothers [Dan, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher]; the boy was with the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah, his father’s [[b]secondary] wives; and Joseph brought back a bad report about them to their father. Genesis 37:2 AMP
Our beginning scriptural verse today is centered on the life of Joseph. Joseph from a very early age of 17 exhibited a quality character that brought about the bright destiny he stepped into and manifested. Something preceded him dreaming, the dream to be the head and become a key player among the sons of Jacob concerning the covenant was given to him by God because of the quality of his integrity. God saw how conscious he was with his life, for a boy to be in the midst of 4 evil doers and still keep his integrity is a rare virtue.
Integrity is one of the keys that makes one to be established and it gives longevity at the place of service. It doesn’t matter who is surrounding you, your ability to stand up for truth and justice will be in your lifting. Enough of the compromise and double standard living. Take a stand today like Joseph and refuse to be part of evil. Be on the side of good and watch how God will lift you beyond your imaginations. Good people are rare, whenever God finds anyone, He establishes them. The throne is established in truth and righteousness, if you want the throne, you must be truthful, righteous and of good character.
Today’s thought: “Integrity will set you aside and position you at the top.”
Keynote: It is better to be standing with God than to stand with man in evil.
Counsel: Avoid every act that will corrupt your testimony going forward. Be for God and stand for truth and justice.
Prayer: I receive the grace to stand out always for God to represent Him in truth and in righteousness. Help me Lord never to be part of evil plans and agenda, may I always be on the side of right in Jesus mighty name.
