If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods, nor worship the golden image which you have set up. Daniel 3: 17-18 KJV
Real victory is achieved when people are firm, unyielding and determined. When you chicken out from the responsibilities of your pursuits and beliefs you lose your place on the earth. Resolute people achieve tangible results in life that outlive them. Resolute decision and the will power to see off their belief was the main sponsor of the statement above. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego believed in God and maintained their ground. Pursue your cause, be willing to die for it, but don’t be willing to die for it without being knowledgeable, because in the real sense knowledgeable people don’t die after all when they go all out for what they believe, the reason is because knowledge is power and power preserves.
Today’s thought: “Firm decisions produce excellent men.”
Keynote: Defend your belief.
Counsel: Go all the way for what you believe.
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your love to me, I receive the grace to firm in my decisions. Help me Lord to apply discipline in my pursuit of knowledge in Jesus, name I pray, amen.
