17 He who speaks truth declares righteousness, But a false witness, deceit. 18 There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, But the tongue of the wise promotes health. 19 The truthful lip shall be established forever, But a lying tongue is but for a moment. Proverbs 12: 17-19 NKJV
It pays to be truthful, never believe the lie that truth doesn’t promote. Truth is a defense that backs itself and it’ll sell you easily when it’s time. Why it appears as if truth is a waste of time, sometimes is because truth works with time, if the time for truth hasn’t arrived acceptance is minimal. Jesus was a walking truth on the earth but many disbelieved, but when time came to be manifested, truth prevailed over doubts in the hearts of many, because truth is truth no matter how hard men try to bury it, it’ll rise when it’s time. The task for you today is to ensure that you tell the truth at all times. It is better to be blessed for saying the truth and doing the right thing, because it is the foundation that the storms of life cannot take out.
Today’s thought: “A lie has a short life, but truth lives on forever.”
Keynote: The Lord hates liars, but is pleased with those who keep their word.
Counsel: Truth is the road to life; lie is the road to death.
Prayer: Oh Lord, help me to always be truthful. I make a demand for the spirit of truth to rest heavily on me from today and going forward in Jesus’ name.
