Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. Jeremiah 7:3 KJV

Those who are real go far with God, it’s a waste of time to be following God and be living wrongly. Be real in your dealings, appearances and utterances with God. I have come to realize that men are the major problem to themselves in the sense that they do what they’ve been instructed not to do or even attempt. The disobedience spirit is a spirit that must first be conquered by any serious Christian that desires more of God. There’s a war to be won and it can be won by consciously deciding to be on the right side with God.

You know the things that didn’t work in May and in the previous years, quickly drop them and face God squarely. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land. Isaiah 1:19. Receiving from God is tied to obedience, and you cannot obey in wrong and expect to receive. Obedience must be done with a clear conscience. God is not a politician that will reward you for supporting him even though you lied and defamed others to gain popular opinion. God is a rewarder of them that do good. Your ways must first please the LORD before access to your possession is given to you.

Today’s thought: “When God is pleased with man there is ease for the man on the works of his hand.”

Counsel: Stop fake and sinful living. Be obedient to God’s word and read the Bible more.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for Your word to me this day, help me to always be in Your plan with realness of motive and actions. Take away every trace of rebellion in me in Jesus’ name, amen.
