God has spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongs to God.  Psalms 62: 11 KJV

Repetition guarantees retention. If you can go over it again and again you’ll surely understand better. Nobody becomes a star by doing something once; they were progressive in their learning, attempts and trials. The Wright brothers – Orville and Wilbur were two American aviation pioneers credited with the invention, building and flying the world’s first airplane. Thomas Alva Edison was another American inventor notably known for the invention of the electric bulb. These are men who mastered their arts by practice; it wasn’t an attempt that was done once. Practice, people say, makes perfect. Don’t be the kind of person that will only attempt what will change his/her life and those around them once.

There are a large percentage of people who take notes and write down lessons from a meeting but never go over those written notes again, and you’re wondering why you’re not getting the same result as the speaker. The answer is lack of practice. When you go over details again and again, what begins to take place is conviction and once conviction is established you’ll be able to walk in the possibilities. In Acts 17:11, the Bible says that the Berea Christians were more noble than their neighbors because they received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily, to confirm the things that Paul said to them. There is an establishment of a premise to go high in life and destiny when people practice what they’ve discovered or known to be true and right.

Today’s thought: “Practice makes perfect and provides mastery.”

Keynote: Practice makes perfect and makes one relevant in his/her field.

Counsel: Go over materials again and again. Be strongly established in what you know and don’t have shallow knowledge. Gain mastery by intentional research and practice.

Prayer: Thank You Lord for today. I ask for the spirit of might and strength to be disciplined enough to spend time in areas that will enhance my course in life in Jesus’ name. I will not miss my spot because of unseriousness and unpreparedness in Jesus’ name, amen.
