Positions are created to accommodate duties, throughout history and counting openings come because of demand, our scriptural focus says ‘when I came to Tro’as’ his coming was what necessitated the open door Apostle Paul experienced. Openings happen at the place of service, you can’t fold your hands, doing nothing and expect to experience an opening, some go as far as fasting and praying without taking any action, this exercise will only frustrate you, and you have to practically be involved in something. Of course supernatural happenings still happen, but it doesn’t mean you should not work. Praying enables what God cannot do and can never enable what you can do. Openings do not happen by chance, things make it happen and that is hard work. If a lion decides to laze around and refuse to hunt, it will die of hunger and starvation. You have to engage yourself, keep busy and find something to do, no matter how small it is, just keep doing it; it can be as little as just studying for two hours a day to improve yourself. Do not run away from work. It pays to be disciplined and responsible. It’s often said that when there is a will, there is a way.
If you look inward and around you there is always something that requires management, it might not pay you cash at the moment but first accept responsibility and trust God to open doors for you as He did for Apostle Paul and many others.
Today’s thought: “Assignments initiate openings and openings define purpose.”
Keynote: Engage yourself, don’t walk through life feeling all worthless and meaningless, give meaning to yourself by taking responsibility.
Counsel: Carryout your duties to the best of your understanding, give your best. Service attracts supernatural openings, making up your mind to leave the ground level by engaging yourself while you wait or prepare for the next big thing.
Prayer: By the spirit of prophecy, I prophesy into your life that the Lord bless you and cause your work to increase, and reveal to you the reason for existence and guide you to the path of fulfillment and destiny realization in Jesus’ name. I receive the strength and the courage to play my role diligently towards my destiny fulfillment in Jesus’ name. I shall no longer be lazy, open my eyes dear Lord to see the responsibilities in the opportunities that surround me, amen.
