SCRIPTURAL FOCUS: And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the Lord had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them anymore, because of the children of Israel. Joshua 5:1 KJV
TODAY’S THOUGHT: “If your mind is right, your life will be wonderful.”
The progression of one’s life is dependent on the kind of belief system that the person operates in, if your mind can accommodate victory you’ll surely be victorious, but if your mind is fragile and little you can only make little or no significant progress at all in your life. If you want and desire to live a meaningful life, you must as a matter of fact start thinking right. That is why in Proverbs 23:7 the Bible says “for as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” Your mind is the engine room that determines how much you can possess physically, be it in the area of good health, righteousness, the anointing, wealth, leadership and whatsoever realm you can think of or imagine. If you can mind it, you can have it.
God from the very beginning started demonstrating how the mind is among the keys that can take one up in life and bring another down. In today’s verse, God performed an act that melted the hearts of the kings of the Amorites that instilled great fear in them and made their imminent defeat and overthrowing easy for the Israelites. He worked on their mind and once the mind gives up, life becomes vulnerable to attacks and failure is guaranteed. Again in Exodus 7:3, Pharaoh was defeated in the mind before it became his reality, his hardened heart of stubbornness and rudeness was what brought calamity and disaster upon his life and people. When things are not working the way there should, endeavor to examine the imaginations of your mind toward the project.
Let your thoughts be filled with the possibilities of God, have no room for fear, littleness and scarcity.
See yourself the way you want to be addressed, even if you don’t look it yet. Your imagination is what your reality becomes.
The grace to think big and see big is released upon your life in Jesus name. Every spirit of timidity in your mind is eliminated by the fire of the Lord forever in Jesus name.
