Life is so complex that no one can afford to live on his/her own without the divine cover of God. Man can be surrounded with tensions and pressures from left, right and center, all these get calmed with Jesus in the picture. Life in its entirety can be burdensome if you lack direction and don’t know what to do with yourself or get out of a particular challenge. With all these questions unanswered, our only solution to triumph and rest is in Jesus the son of God. It doesn’t matter how unrealistic and scattered it might appear at the moment, we all have a perfect fixer in Jesus. He said you should come to Him. Nobody comes to God with openness of mind and sincerity that returns back with the same old person. He will certainly give to you what made you seek for His mercy and help.
Don’t live a life that doesn’t answer to anyone, ensure and always be on alert that you are answerable to God, that way He can check and balance your life with scriptural principles and guidelines. The condition for attaining rest in God is simply by coming to Him. Coming to God, simply put, is to have the first-God mentality and total surrender of one’s will and desire to God, because when the will of God becomes your will, life becomes restful and impactful. In your bid to come to God, please do not select what to give up and what not to; because when limit is placed by man, it shrinks the blessings. He is a rewarder of them that trust in Him. God admires when He is the only choice we have for existence, He decorates such a life with fearful blessings.
Prayer of the Day: I shall never be cut-off from your root in Christ Jesus! This day and going forward will give me abundant rest from that trouble that has troubled my heart. Victory is sure in Jesus’ name, amen.
