Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not. Jeremiah 33:3 KJV

No one knows and has information like God, if you are in search of answers, God is the holder of all secrets, if you go to him, you’ll discover what no one else knows. The problem is men don’t know how to seek God. The instruction from our opening scripture says “call to Me…” instead of calling on God, people list their wants and desires to Him. Calling Him first is the stage of desire for His person, is the stage where you want to seek God and know Him for who He is and not for what is in His hands. When your heart is pinned on God, you experience His best. Make knowing Him your primary duty and your wants secondary. Praise Him first and list your wants later.

People that call on God to know Him, always have their life’s needs sorted out. God wants to have a relationship with us, He wants us to Him well and not just to have what we want. Beyond Him meeting our needs, His desire is that we might know Him and increase in the understanding of His ways. Reason why some people move from one glory to another is because they are never satisfied with what they know God to be, they keep pressing for more. For some people, once their needs are met, they stop chasing God, and God can never increase the one whose heart is weak on Him, the more of Him you call and desire to Know, the higher your life’s achievement and success in your endeavors.

Prayer of the Day: In the name of Jesus I receive the grace to be a genuine lover of God, one who comes before God for who He is and not because of what is in His hands, so help me God. I pray for you today that you’ll receive response from God concerning that need of yours today in Jesus name, amen.
