As the Partridge that hatches eggs it did not lay is the man who gains riches by unjust means. When his life is half gone, they will desert him, and in the end will prove to be a fool. Jeremiah 17:11 NIV
We are in the end of the year when the desire for money is in high demand more than any other period of the year. Some will do anything in order to show-off in this season of celebration that is approaching. The point of deliberation this day is the way the money is made. Cheating, lying and indulging in ungodly activities in order to make money will certainly amount to disaster in the future. Make sure to watch your dealings and avoid any scenario that will compromise your stand in God and dent your relationship with the Master. If you need it, God will give it to you; anything that God hasn’t given you yet shouldn’t be hurried into by any means to get it. It is unwise to cheat others for money, because such acts reveal foolishness. Anything that is not gotten right will certainly desert at some point and cause unthinkable hardship and drawback to life’s purpose. Like Job maintain your integrity and refuse to compromise, the act of crookedness is the pathway to permanent curse and misery in life whereas upholding integrity is the pathway to blessedness. Be desperate for nothing and cast all your cares on the LORD. These moments will pass but what you do now will determine your next phase. Do it rightly and secure your future.
Prayer of the Day: LORD, I pray in the name of Jesus that you’ll give me the courage, the Holy Spirit boldness to turn down evil means and look away. I apply for the grace to remain in your will, purpose, promise and goodness, LORD give me the boldness to keep on trusting You, knowing that You have my interest. Thank You LORD for supplying all my needs according to Your riches, mercies and for showing me favour, amen.
