When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.)  So the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What are we to drink?” Then Moses cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became fit to drink. Exodus 15: 23-25 NIV

There are moments in our life when we must give the right response to nature. To alter nature you need the creator’s word. God gave us sense so that we can use it to reason. We are not meant to be panicking, when we are supposed to display mental prowess and alertness to the issues of life. The children of Israel murmured against Moses who was representing God because of the bitter water they had to drink, as if it was Moses who made it bitter in the first place. We should endeavor to know the limits of man when it comes to nature, instead of putting oneself in a spot of being rebellious, just simply resort to God. Something’s happened to see what our response to God will be like, whether we’ll depend on Him or turn against Him. Be mindful of moments like this, so as not to get it wrong. Positive mentality is what will propel the right kind of action and mannerism towards undesirable circumstances.

Instead of always complaining of how things aren’t going the way you want, be like Moses instead and always cry out to God in prayers in times when you lack wisdom to handle the situation at hand. God will never leave you hanging if He knows your life depends on His answer. As much as we want God’s help, we must endeavor to pray correctly and not for unnecessary things. Don’t complain about life or what you cannot change, murmuring and worrying dries up the soul. When we approach God in full desperation for His direction He responds. When you ask for God’s help He will help you.

Prayer of the Day: I will not be stranded in life. The faithful God bless you this day and cause this ending part of October 2022, to give to you all that the month is supposed to give to you that is yet to enter your hands in Jesus’ name. God will give you a gift this week. I am breaking forth in Jesus’ name and I manifest the blessings of the Lord, amen.
