22 It is of the Lord‘s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentation 3:22-23 KJV
No one can live life without the mercy of God. One of the pillars of salvation is the mercy of God. Distinction in life and destiny is made possible by the mercy of God. The mercy of God can be accessed through:
- The word of the Lord can come to you or you can go to the word. It simply means that God can speak to you or you can hear His voice via the study of the Bible. Ezekiel 12:21, Daniel 9:2.
- Through dedication and diligence. Daniel 6:10
- Separate yourself, don’t follow the crowd. Daniel 1:20
- Through the demonstration of a strong desire to experience the best of God. Genesis 32: 24-28
- Via practical demonstration of mercy towards the people around you. Life is a seed, what you sow is what you’ll reap.
- Make demands of the mercy of God on a daily basis. Exodus 33: 13-14
- Through praise and worship.
Avoid complaints and seek God’s mercy daily. Beyond the forgiveness of sins, mercy is the major sponsor of the blessings of the Lord upon a life. People whose lives were changed found mercy in His sight.
Prayer of the Day: Help me Lord to walk in Your mercy, I receive the grace to experience Your mercy on a daily basis in Jesus, name. I apply for the mercy that gives ease to the works of my hands in Jesus’ name, amen.
