Then said David to the Philistine, you come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defiled. This day will the LORD deliver you into my hand; and I will smite you, and take your head from you; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day to the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saves not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’s, and He will give you into our hands. 1Samuel 17: 45-47 KJV
The backing of God is the reason why many have risen and more are still rising in the kingdom today, your sincerity to acknowledge that you need God to forge ahead is the number one factor that will make your experience smooth. A whole army was littered across the camp of the Israelites and lacked the strength to confront a common enemy because they compared Goliath with their physical strength, military strategies, tactics and forsaking to include the Almighty God in their plan. When David arrived in the picture, immediately he started talking big with God, he saw it as the Lord’s battle and he was able to be factored inside the defeat strategy by God to defeat Goliath. Because whatsoever you hand over to God, He’ll deliver the result to you.
Your strength will fail you time and again if you depend on it to see you through. David understood that God is all He needs to defeat Goliath, and the same message is what the Lord is passing across to you today. You need Him to go ahead, by yourself you can only achieve very little but with God you’ll achieve great things. The possibilities in God are unlimited, nothing can stand against God. The Scripture told us that with men it is impossible but with God everything is possible, so your ability is human but when you hide under the abilities of God it becomes a supernatural experience for you, because everything and everyone obeys His voice. Don’t struggle to make it all by yourself, subscribe to the LORD and He’ll show you help and deliver you. It’s Lord’s work and if it pleases Him, I am available to be used in the process should always be your confession.
Today’s thought: “Don’t go out in battle until you’re sure of your strength and backing.”
Keynote: Trust in the LORD and not in you nor in men. Commit your ways to the LORD and He will direct your path.
Counsel: Always judge every situation from the perspective of God and always carry God along in your life’s Journey.
Prayer: Lord, help me not to place my faith in my own strength and intelligence, help me O Lord; to place my faith in You and Your mercy. The grace to forge ahead is released upon you in Jesus’ name, be delivered from any spot that the devil has kept you for long, I decree your immediate deliverance in Jesus’ name, amen.
