5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 2 Peter 1: 5-10 KJV
Secret gives value to discovery, the meaning of a thing increases whenever the unknown is shown. Our dominion is different because our discoveries are different. The mystery you’re able to access and apply is what will bring about your productivity. What you know sometimes will not benefit you, until you apply it directly into your lifestyle. Verse 5-8 of today’s Bible reading spelt out the necessities that can enable a man to become fruitful. If you can uphold all the points in this Bible verse, this day and going forward will certainly be the best you’ll have. Diligence is sustained by knowledge, whereby the knowledge you have will influence your faith directly. None of these points listed above should be ignored nor should you be diligent without knowing what God is saying about what you’re doing. Diligence, faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, goodliness, kindness and charity are the secret qualities that make a believer fruitful. Not one of these qualities will qualify you but the combination of all of them.
He that lacks these qualities is blind, and cannot see afar off and has forgotten that Christ has delivered him/her from the old ways and that access to the things of God is granted when obedience to His word is complete. Take these action steps seriously and you’ll definitely see the result in your life. This season shall be for you the month of rest from every trouble that has bothered your heart, you’ll see God’s hand at work in your life, delivering unto you the results you need. It shall be well with you. It shall be well with our nation Nigeria and the world. You shall be filled with the goodness of the LORD, in Jesus Mighty Name.
