And they that know Your name will put their trust in You: for You, LORD, have not forsaken them that seek you. Psalms 9:10 KJV

Nowadays trust is not easy to come by and even when we try to trust we get betrayed or disappointed by the people we try to believe in. The tendency of a man to fail has made trust a scarce virtue in today’s world. Everybody is usually extra careful when dealing with one another, but that’s not the case with God, with God those who put their trust in Him are never disappointed. God won’t sell you out or try to outsmart you, if He tells you this is it, then that is it with no extras. His words are Yes and Amen. Trust comes as a result of knowledge, that is to say what you know about someone is what affects your trust for the person. Our anchor scripture says…And those that know Your name will put their trust in You. There will be no trust without knowing Him.

The scripture says in Romans 10:17…So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. I want you to understand that the builder of faith and trust in God is His word. In His word you’ll know Him better and can relate well with His promises for your life. In essence without the knowledge of the word of God it will be difficult to trust Him. The Lord doesn’t forsake those who seek Him, and when you search through the Holy Bible you’ll see examples of men and women who put their trust in God and were never forsaken. It’s not how tough the life challenge is that matters, what matters is your trust in Him to see you through and once you’re able to hand it over to Him, He’ll see you through.

Today’s Thought: “You trust better when you know enough.”

Keynote: The knowledge of God influences our trust and faith in Him.

Counsel: Study the Bible to know more about God. The more of Him you know, the more courageous you’ll be.

Prayer: LORD, I ask for the discipline to study and search the scriptures, help me to see great and mighty things whenever I study Your words in Jesus’ name. Father, You know my heart desires and where I need Your touch the most, please answer my prayers. Your trust in God will not end in shame, He will deliver your answers to you in the name of Jesus, He didn’t disappoint anyone and He won’t disappoint you. This day shall count for you. Amen. God bless you!
