12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. 13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded. Proverbs 13:12-13 KJV

Nothing weakens the spirit like delay in expectations, and nothing weakens convictions like disappointment. If you know your God you’ll be strong in every circumstance. The reason why you gave up or feel tired right now is because you don’t know enough of God. The fact is when hope is not producing results faith is destroyed and another fact is, if you know the word of God you’ll be strong inside what seems to look like delay. It’s not all delays that are delays, some are preparation and testing for the position God is placing ahead of you, don’t interpret every denial as delay because some are divine to give you better. Job waited for his change to come and so did David. Everybody experiences confrontation but the one who knows the word of God overcomes it all. My people perish for lack of knowledge is what the Bible says, because the moment knowledge is absent, delay is magnified and hope is lost. Most Jews that were in captivity at Babylon had given up but Daniel by knowledge knew the time for deliverance had come for his people. If you despise the word of God you will lack hope triggers and faith boosters because inside the word is the revelation that God won’t tempt you with what you cannot bear, He is too faithful to deliver you and make your expectations come true.

Today’s Thought: “Your knowledge will determine how you will respond to situations.

Keynote: Know what God said about you. Know the provisions God made for you from His word.

Counsel: Judge every situation from the perspective of the word of God.

Prayer: In the name of Jesus, I receive the grace to know the word of God, to do it and to see the realities of God in my life, my trust in God will not be stretched anymore, henceforth my labour will bring forth gain, amen.
