Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Say not to your neighbor, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when you have it by you. Proverbs 3: 27-28 KJV

Whenever you withhold what you can offer for the benefit of another person for no just reason you lack goodwill. We are what we are by the grace of election, so when people are genuinely in need of what is in your hands that God has blessed you with please withhold it not from them. Men are channels for the blessings and if you happen to be one of the vessels holding the blessing, do not reserve it for only yourself, because any true blessing from God blesses the lives of others. Never ever delay helping people, because you don’t know what the help you are offering is saving. Jesus was doing good as the need arises. When you want to give, don’t consider the character of the receiver, only consider if the need is genuine. If the need is real and it’s within your capacity, release it.

Today’s thought: “Do good and withhold it not from people.”

Keynote: God is the major and only source of what you have, if another asks for it, give it with sense.

Counsel: Never ever deny people access that you can open.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus I receive the spirit of discernment to identify who really needs my help and the grace not to withhold it. Help me Lord to be a giver in Jesus’ name, amen.
