God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble. James 4:6 KJV
One of the major requirements in living for humans is humility. Humility therefore is to ascribe all that you are, know and have to come from God. It is never assuming the glory of your achievements but rather giving all the glory to God who made you who you are by His grace of election. Your abilities alone are not enough to give you great lifting in life, you need God to help you and when He does never ever assume the position of the source. In my day-day activities of business I have seen colleagues who upon touching small amounts of money become very proud, arrogant and full of themselves. Most times it is displayed in their attitudes and they become too big to relate with people whom in their eyes they feel have not attained the same level of success as them. God’s servant Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche recently said that…“It is better to be humble by choice than to be humbled by force.” God resists proud people, and if you’re resisted it’s only a matter of time before you crash, it won’t be your portion in Jesus’ name. To go up in life, to remain up in life and to remain relevant in your field you need humility, without it everything that works for lifting and longevity will fight you.
Today’s thought: “And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.”
Keynote: The heart of humility is the key to authority and relevance.
Counsel: Decide to be humble by choice and don’t be a victim of pride like Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel 4:29-37
Prayer: I receive the grace to be humble at every stage of growth in my life in Jesus’ name, the consciousness to always give God all the glory is released upon me now in Jesus’ name. I shall not miss it because of pride, amen. I declare and decree the week blessed and opened for you in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. You’ll have your expectations in your hands before the week is over in Jesus’ name, amen.
