And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, it is manna: for they knew not what it was. And Moses said to them, this is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat. EXODUS 16:15 KJV
Everybody is a product of the blessings of God, the only difference is in the dimensions of the blessing. The person that is enjoying a bigger size of God’s blessing started with small and was very grateful. Anything you cannot give or add to yourself no matter how little the degree requires immense thanks from you to God, don’t hold back God’s praise because the act does not look like what you want. The same situation played out among the children of Israel after God heard their murmurings He blessed them with a meal and instead of their thanks they asked a rebellious question. The whole congregation refused to see the miraculous act of God in giving them a ready-made meal from heaven and called it ‘manna’-meaning ‘what is this’, only Moses called it bread from the Lord and saw reason to be grateful. God served them the same meal for 40years because of their unthankful attitude, God is capable of changing their meals every day but their response to His act made Him to leave them with only a choice, God can give you choices if you act gratefully.
I don’t know where you have been trapped in life with a single choice with no option coming forth. Every day looks the same to you but there is a remedy for you today, the Lord is telling you to examine your gratitude and thankfulness to Him. Have you held back ‘thank you Lord’ where you should have released it? Are you angry with the choice God gave you? Today God wants you to turn back to Him with a grateful heart, thank Him always for your life and He will not seize from making thankful things happen around your life. The last act of God that man refused to thank is the last supernatural move man will experience until thanks is given before another experience is introduced by God. Your thanks is the pass mark that promotes you to another realm of the blessing. If you show appreciation for little, He gives you more to intensify your praise, see praise in everything and thank Him sincerely for His help and value.
Today’s thought: “The provision of God is for thankfulness and not for questioning.”
Keynote: Gratefulness will help our life while ungratefulness is man applying brakes by himself to slow self-down and leave man at a spot.
Counsel: Be grateful in al everything.
Prayer: Every trace of rebellion and ungratefulness in me is set on fire by the blood of Jesus. I receive the grace to see thanks in everything and to be grateful always, amen. God bless you immensely.
